ANDREA MARTÍN ALACID
Secretary General

Andrea is in the second year of her degree in International Studies at Madrid’s Universidad Carlos III.

Following her attendance at several editions of SEKMUN, she decided that the MUN were one of her passions and has taken part in over a dozen of them in Spain and abroad.

Now she joins us as Secretary General of the first MiMUN-UCJC with the major challenge of making this Model a standard for quality both in Spain and abroad.

ÁLVARO RODRÍGUEZ POBLETE
Deputy Secretary General

Álvaro is a third year student in the Joint Economics and International Relations degree at Madrid’s Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

His first contact with Model United Nations was at the age of 16. He first took part in the 6th SEKMUN, then in WORLDMUN 2014 and OVImun 2015, among others.

He is a member of different associations such as the ADHUE Debate Club and the URJC Investment Club.

 

CARMELO SÁNCHEZ SÁNCHEZ

Chairperson of the Second Commission of Economic and Financial Affairs of the General Assembly: ECOFIN

Carmelo is a 4th year student in the Development, Commercial Management and Marketing Studies degree at Camilo José Cela University in Madrid.

He has taken part in different United Nations Models in Spain and abroad, both as a delegate and officer.

 

GEMMA MARTÍNEZ TORREMOCHA
Deputy Chairperson of the Second Commission of Economic and Financial Affairs of the General Assembly: ECOFIN

Gemma is a 2nd year student in the Joint Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and Physiotherapy degree at Camilo José Cela University in Madrid.

She has taken part in four editions of SEKMUN with different roles in different editions. She has taken part as a page, then as delegate and later as an officer.

 

GABRIEL ALONSO FRIERAID
Chairperson of the Third Commission on Social and Humanitarian Affairs of the General Assembly: SOCHUM

Gabriel is in his fourth year of his Economics Degree at Universidad de Granada, although he started his studies at Santiago de Compostela.

He discovered the MUNs when he took part in SEKMUN in 2010 and up to date has taken part in three editions of SEKMUN, one regional session, one national one and a third international session of the the Model European Parliament (MEP) and the LIMUN 2015.

 

PATRICIA MANZANO RODRÍGUEZ
Deputy Chairperson of the Third Commission on Social and Humanitarian Affairs of the General Assembly: SOCHUM

Patricia is in the second year of her degree in History of Art at Madrid’s Universidad Carlos III.

In 2012 she travelled to the Hague for her first United Nations Model (THIMUN). Since then she has taken part in different pre-university debate leagues and three consecutive editions of SEKMUN, as an officer for two of them. Furthermore, she had the opportunity to take part in the London International MUN in 2015.

 

ANTONIO FABREGAT MARIANINI
Chairperson of the Security Council

Antonio is a 3rd year student taking a joint degree in Law and Business Administration at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

He discovered the world of MUNs through SEKMUN, taking part in three editions, the last of them as Chairperson of the Human Rights Council. He has represented many different countries in different models both in Spain and abroad. He was recently named World’s Best University Public Speaker from 215 other international students.

 

YOLANDA ÁLVAREZ VIZÁN
Deputy Chairperson of the Security Council

Yolanda is a 3rd year student studying a a degree in Law at the Universidad de Salamanca.

She started taking part in Model United Nations two years ago, when she first took part in MUNUSAL. Having taken part in the Organising Committee she now chairs the association tied to this Model. She has taken part as a delegate in the Berlin (BERLINMUN) and Poznan (POZIMUN) models.

 

CÉSAR GIMENO RODRÍGUEZ
Chairperson of the Human Rights Council

César currently works as an intern at the European External Action Service in consular crisis management. Following his appointment as General Secretary of MUN in Stockholm he will travel to Sweden in November. He chairs the subcommittee of the European Commission that will organise the first MUN to be developed and sponsored by the EU. He has been taking part in Model United Nations since 2012.

 

VICTORIA MONTES-NIÑO
Deputy Chairperson of the Human Rights Council

Victoria is a 2nd year student taking a joint degree in International Relations and Mathematics at the University of Miami.

Her interest in Model United Nations began in 2012 where she took part in the 5th SEKMUN and participated as a delegate in THIMUN.  Two years later she was an officer as the 8th SEKMUN.

 

MERYEM AYDIN CONDE
Chairperson of ECOSOC

Meryem is a fourth year student taking an International Relations degree at Madrid’s Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Her interest in United Nations Models began five years ago and since then has taken part as a delegate in different organisational roles.

 

NICOLÁS HERRERO FOLLEY

Deputy Chairman of ECOSOC

Nicolás is in his final year of his degree in Law at the Universidad de Oviedo, which he combines with his work as an English language teacher.

His interest in International Relations, International Law, politics and economics have led him to participate in European Union and United Nations simulations over many years.
He took part in OVImun 2013 as a delegate, in the General Assembly in 2014 in Vienna (MEU Wien 2014) and Dundee in Scotland. He his a member of BETA (Bringing Europeans Together Association ) and OVImun.

ANTONIO FABREGAT MARIANINI

Antonio es estudiante del doble Grado en Derecho y ADE en la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

Descubrió el mundo de los MUN a través de SEKMUN, participando en varias ediciones. Posteriormente ha representado a diversos países en varios modelos universitarios dentro y fuera de España En la primera Edición de MiMUN-UCJC fue Presidente del Consejo de Seguridad.

Un año más ha sido nombrado el mejor orador universitario del mundo de habla hispana.

 

CARMELO SÁNCHEZ SÁNCHEZ
Vicesecretario General

Carmelo ha finalizado sus estudios del Grado en Desarrollo, Gestión Comercial y Estudios de Mercado-Marketing, en la Universidad Camilo José Cela de Madrid y actualmente se encuentra cursando un Master.
Ha participado en diferentes modelos de Naciones Unidas a nivel nacional e internacional, como delegado y como autoridad.
En la primera Edición de MiMUN-UCJC fue Presidente de la Segunda Comisión de la Asamblea General.

 

ESTELA BIBILONI
Presidenta de la Tercera Comisión.  Asuntos Sociales y Humanitarios de la Asamblea General: SOCHUM

Estela es estudiante del Doble Grado de Economía y Relaciones Internacionales de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos
Su experiencia en los MUN comenzó en su universidad como representante de la República Francesa en el Consejo de Seguridad, obteniendo el premio a Mejor Delegación. Siguió participando en Modelos y obteniendo en ellos de nuevo, premio a Mejor delegación.
Sus estudios de Relaciones Internacionales le han permitido una comprensión profunda del funcionamiento Interno de la ONU y de la relación entre países.

 

JAVIER LÓPEZ PADILLA
Vicepresidente de la Tercera Comisión. Asuntos Sociales y Humanitarios de la Asamblea General: SOCHUM

Javier es Formador de la Escuela de Debate Cánovas Fundación.

Ha participado en numerosos torneos de debate y en diferentes Modelos de Naciones Unidas. Además de ser Presidente de la décima edición en la Simulación del Parlamento europeo en Andalucía.

 

 

FELIPE ANDRÉS PFEIFFER MADURO
Presidente de la Sexta Comisión: Jurídica de la Asamblea General

Felipe comenzó sus estudios de Derecho en la Universidad José Antonio Pérez de Venezuela y actualmente los continúa en la Universidad de Augsburgo, Bavaria.

Fiel creyente del gran valor que aporta la participación en los MUN fruto de su experiencia internacional. Participando como delegado y Autoridad en diferentes modelos internacionales. Participó como delegado en la primera Edición de MiMUN-UCJC obteniendo el premio a mejor delegado

 

JAIME GALLUT GARCÍA
Vicepresidente de la Sexta Comisión: Jurídica de la Asamblea General

Jaime es estudiante del Grado en Relaciones Internacionales en la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Ha participado como Presidente y vicepresidente en los Modelos de Naciones Unidas Global Clasroom y ADHUE-UAMIMUN African Union Model, así como delegado en diferentes Modelos. Obteniendo diferentes premios como mejor delegado.

 

ALBA ORCHE GARCÍA
Presidenta de la Organización Mundial de la Salud: OMS

Alba es estudiante de Derecho de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Sus inicios en los MUN tuvieron lugar en SEKMUN, donde en su último año de participación fue Secretaria General del Modelo.

Cuenta con una amplia experiencia en Modelos nacionales e internacionales. Ganadora en 2015 del premio a la mejor oradora de la VI edición de la liga de debate de la universidad de Nebrija, Vesus.

 

ALEJANDRO MENÉNDEZ FERNÁNDEZ
Vicepresidente de la Organización Mundial de la Salud: OMS

Alejandro es estudiante de Derecho de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Ha participado como delegado en diferentes Modelos y obtuvo el premio a Mejor delegación en MiMUN-UCJC 2015 en la Asamblea General. Actualmente es voluntario de UNICEF Comité Español, de donde aprende a diario gran parte de los conocimientos que le guían en su participación en los MUN.

 

JAIME RODRÍGUEZ TROBAJO
Presidente del Consejo de Seguridad

Jaime trabaja actualmente en el Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), como investigador. Es Graduado en física por la universidad de Oviedo y actualmente se encuentra cursando tercero del Grado en Economía por la UNED.

Ha sido Secretario General y organizador de OVIMUN 2016 y ha participado entre otros MUN en el de la Unión Europea de Estrasburgo.

 

MARTÍN GARCÍA FERNANDEZ
Vicepresidente del Consejo de Seguridad

Martín es estudiante del Grado en Relaciones Internacionales en inglés de la universidad Rey Juan Carlos, realizando su especialidad en Seguridad y Defensa Internacional.

Con el objetivo de trabajar en el campo de la seguridad internacional, su experiencia en los MUN aunque es amplia, siempre intenta enfocarla en la participación en el Consejo de Seguridad y en el Comité de Derechos Humanos.

 

DIEGO ARMANDO MORERA PONCE
Presidente del Consejo de Derechos Humanos

Diego es estudiante del Grado en Relaciones Internacionales en Venezuela.

Cuenta con la experiencia de la participación en modelos como CWMUN celebrado en Nueva York, donde obtuvo el premio a mejor delegación en el Consejo de Seguridad.

 

MIGUEL ZAPATA OKONIS
Vicepresidente del Consejo de Derechos Humanos

Miguel es estudiante del Grado en Sociología en la universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Su experiencia en los MUN comienza en SEKMUN y tras ello dio el salto a los Modelos Universitarios nacionales e internacionales, llegando a participar en el Modelo de Moscú como delegado de la Federación Rusa en la Asamblea General.
